Terms of service
Effective August 12, 2026
These terms govern your use of the Salt Services client portal at my.saltservicesusa.com. By logging in, you accept them. Your signed hosting or service agreement with Salt Services controls wherever it differs from these terms.
Account access
Portal accounts are created by Salt Services for hosting clients and staff โ there's no public sign-up. You're responsible for keeping your password and the phone/email used for login codes current and secure, and for anything that happens under your account.
What the portal shows you
The portal displays information about your own hosting account and website: billing status and invoice history, visitor and search-performance data, the SEO work plan for your site (if included in your service), and monthly reports (if included). It's provided as a convenience alongside your hosting service, not sold separately.
Billing and non-payment
Hosting subscriptions are billed through Stripe per the price set in your agreement. If a payment fails, we'll notify you and give you a chance to update your card before anything changes. If payment remains unresolved, your website may be temporarily paused until it's resolved โ DNS and your site's files are never altered or deleted, only which server the domain points to. Service resumes automatically once payment succeeds.
Requesting changes
The "Request a change" form sends your request to us; it doesn't publish automatically. Changes go live only after you've approved them on a preview link, unless your agreement says otherwise.
No guarantee of results
Where the portal shows analytics or search performance data, that's a report of what happened, not a promise of what will happen. We commit to doing the work described in your agreement, not to specific traffic, ranking, or revenue outcomes.
Acceptable use
Don't attempt to access another client's account or data, probe the portal for vulnerabilities, or use it for anything unrelated to managing your own hosting account.
Disclaimers and limitation of liability
The portal is provided "as is," without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Salt Services will not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the portal, and our total liability is limited to the hosting fees you paid in the twelve months before the claim arose.
Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Tennessee. Any dispute will be brought in the state or federal courts serving Sevier County, Tennessee. Before filing anything, we agree to try first to resolve it with a direct conversation.
Changes and contact
We may update these terms; the version posted here with the latest effective date is the one in force. Questions: fdarnell@saltservicesusa.com, (866) 721-7258, Salt Services, Kodak, TN.
